Hair treatment !
After procrastinating for more than a year , I finally went for professional hair treatment.
So loving my post hair treatment hair >
Now that I think about it , I've never had saloon hair treatment done before ! Ahhh ...yes I'm cheap like that u. U
I'm still somewhat skeptical about saloon treatment and I think the silky smooth feel will soon disappear. But I'm loving how smooth it feels now. Especially after having grass like hair for the past year ... I almost forgot this is how hair should feel ><

Daiso loot!
I Love shopping in Daiso when their new stock is in!
Was feeling pretty demoralised yesterday but decided that since the water is already under the bridge , I might as well just enjoy what I can now. And so I went to Daiso! Went to the biggest and furthest branch ; IMM. So troublesome to get there but shopping at IMM's Daiso is therapeutic xD
Bought $30 worth of random stuff and bought stuffs I always liked but don't bear to waste money on. Just to make myself feel better xD
Check out their socks collection !! Their new range of ankle high socks with Frills on the top is so cute !!!! But as with anything cheap, the quality control can be tad slack some times. Some times the sock's frills don't match up. One is frill-er than the other. But then, $2 bucks so yeah.
Daiso's fake lash and lash case section xDI bought a pink lash case but I think I'm probably giving it away with the fake lash giveaways for TheCosplayChronicles.

Found mai moneh!!!
So a year or so ago I exchanged $1000 sgd into USD currency when the dollar was dipped really low. Unfortunately for me, it was a wrong investment as the dollar only continued dropping. And at this very moment of typing, I have lost usd58 (sgd70) of money value.
But that aside, what made me really upset was how in the midst of my Chinese new year spring cleaning, I shifted the money from its usual place and then clean FORGOT WHERE I FREAKIN PLACED IT!
I've tried looking for it a couple of times in my usual money storage areas with no results and a lot of heartache.
The last time I searched was in June.
And so if you follow TheCosplayChronicles' Facebook page , you would know I was thinking of giving some of my lashes away. I'm thinking of maybe giving 3 different pairs of lashes away. And because the lashes used to be part of a box of ten, I had no box to contain them if I give them away.
I ventured on to make a box but it was kind fail -.- so I gave up and went to dig my cupboards for a nice gift box to contain the lashes. And then I found this lucky clover box that used to hold a 4 leaf clover charm from Maria. AND THE MONEY IS INSIDE !!!!! I don't even remember how/ when I put it in ! But I'm so glad my "nice deed" inevitably found me my money.

Sydney and back! My loots!!
This blog is so abandoned...
Anyway i'm back from a 11 days trip to Sydney Australia! It was my first trip to an "Ang Moh" country and I've never felt more stressed about a trip before. I'm glad everything turned out well xD
Everything was so expensive that I only dare buy from Kmart, Target and Reject shops. But I'm glad I got some really nice bargains xD
I bought these 2 eyelash case for AUD$2.5 at a reject shop! While they are too space consuming for my liking. I'm in love with it's uber cute design and have long been contemplating getting something to store multiple lashes when I travel. Each box holds 3 pairs of lashes.
Also bought this gold brown weekender bag from Target ( or was it K Mart?). Ever since I saw a hotel mate using one of these, I've been wanting one. Mainly love it for its ample storage space and ability to house my ELF palette. But now that I have tested it out, it seems a little too big =_=; I kinda regret getting this design though, should have gotten the shocking pink and black one instead.

I lugged a big stash of Red Rock Deli chips back with no regrets! And my favorite flavor has got to be Honey Soy Chicken. It was finger licking good *_* A little salty and intense for people who doesn't like MSG in their chips but for me it's like "BRING IT ON!".

I love the range for its highly moisturising properties and non irritant effect. I started with their highly popular toner and serum and found both to be very soothing even when my face was going through an allergy reaction and terribly disturbed. In fact, my skin had no reaction to it at all.
This cream is no different. Not irritating and no fragrance. I especially love it's gel like texture. It's opaque white and feels more like some water gel than cream.
It is absobed fairly well but tends to be a little sticky. I'm not sure does that mean my skin hasn't absorbed it yet or?
To conclude, this product is very hydrating and suitable for sensitive dry skin that doesn't like creams.

Hauls and life update !
Phew exactly what am I doing these days ?! I just always feel so tired, unproductive and busy ! Not a good combination >.<
Oh yes, I feel poor too :(
Australia SMASH trip is coming up soon. It's my first trip to a Caucasian country and it's freakin me out >.< I think I need to fork out a minimum of $2000 for spending alone T. T
On a lighter note , it's my birthday tomorrow ! And I had one of the most awesome celebration last Saturday. I hate hosting and hence I haven't had a birthday party for a long time. Partly also because I feel bad for ( i assume) putting my friends in a situation I assume they will feel uncomfortable in. Anyway a joke from a friend recently made me realise I must do more to stay in contact with all the awesome people I've come to know so… party there is !
My dress is a combination of a inner spaghetti dress and a cardigan. Bought them cheap from Taiwan ! Yes I love flora , beige pastel- ish clothes xD liz Lisa !

TheFaceShop hauls (Arsainte series etc)
Actually I think I bought these early May. What happened in between ?!? So busy!
I bought like $100 worth of TFS skincare product to get their membership and promotional freebie. But Of course I like their products too la xD
Basically I retuned and bought their Arsainte ideal essence , Arsainte daily moisturiser, Gel sunscreen and Damange Coating Essence for my hair.
The promotional freebie was a travel size set of Arsainte Eco Therapy products. I'm pretty fond of this series for its moisturising properties and they don't break me out. I should really try to do a review soon but I just suck at observing difference unless they are super drastic.
Kinda mweh at the fact that they deliberately skimmed on the more expensive product (essential cream).

Review: Arsainte ECO-THERAPY ideal essence

Pros: deep hydrating without being overly greasy
Cons: slightly pricey and fragranced.
I first chanced upon this product as a trial sachet. Can't remember where I got it , but my first impression was mixed. My skin was experiencing a comeback of a weird allergy reaction during that period and was itchy, dry and sensitive. By dry I mean I can only use creams to stall the unwanted drying sensation. Not good.
Almost as soon as the essence touched my skin I knew it would work. It has an instantly hydrating effect and is absorbed easily. Depending on the amount you use, it can leave a slightly sticky residue but the hydrating effect was enough for me to look beyond that.
The essence is clear , relatively runny with a slight fragrance.
I'm not a fan of fragrance but I'm glad to say it did not bother my skin much (no redness or rash) even though my skin was in a terribly sensitive state. My first experience with it though , did break out my skin.
A few months on and my skin still hasn't found an affordable product to pump moisture into it so I decided to give the product another go.
I have since bought my 2nd bottle and signed up for TheFaceShop's membership. My skin has since recovered from the allergy but it is still a dry combination skin. Unless my skin changes or I find something better, I think I'll be sticking to this life saving product !

What I dislike because hate is a strong word.
If someone would ever ask me what I hate most, I'd say I hate people who go on and on about THEMSELVES.
I hate people who expect other people to do things for them. Family members not included.

I hate people who talks unobjectively and bias-ly behind a person's back. And then starts talking nicely to them once they 'get to know' the person.
I don't like people who needs to have an opinion on EVERYTHING
I absolutely cry when people recycles the exact same thing (memory/experience/ review/ joke etc) which I have no interest in! To make it really unbearable, they repeat it at least 2 times continuously in one paragraph. Yes, I hear you! You don't have to repeat and repeat and repeat and repeatttttttt
I absolutely cringe when people actually takes my polite replies for real and goes on to praising themselves.

I must disclaim that I had utterly NO intention of buying anything or even joining in the sale.
But Anna was super enthusiastic and I somehow tagged alone and now I am happily $37 poorer. Lol !

Weekend with the church bells ringing ~
Last week was a really fast week ! Honestly things went so fast I barely understood it xD
Anyway last Saturday was my first experience as a bridesmaid. All the previous weddings I've only attended as a normal guest or stage emcee. it was a very different and tiring experience xD
I couldn't really sleep the night before so i went to bed around 1plus and woke up at 4:30am. Then took my time to do my makeup and get ready. For someone who sleeps 12 hour on undisturbed weekends, you bet I was sleepy and somewhat cranky. But the moment I stepped into the bride's room and saw my dear friend dressed in her full garb omg, the feeling was so unbelievable ! I could almost cry! Lol !
It was then a full and happy day of dance ( all the brides maid and brothers did a special mob dance xD ) and frantic-ness. Helping the bride with her gown , shoes , making sure the logistics were brought along etc. basically being a saikang warrior xD but I have to be thankful that I'm the only bridesmaid that didn't have as much dedicated job scope as the rest xD I think Vivian knows how clumsy I am so she spared me from those chores lol.
Macy and I stayed with the couple through out the day so we had a lot of time to crap with each other lol. And I have thereby labelled her as Scary Macy lol. Scary Macy insisted I change my hairstyle for the dinner so I wouldn't look exactly the same in the photos lol. Aiya, very sweet of her la.
This is the hair style she did for me. Some sort of straight plait.
Macy also gave a very random but interesting comment that she can really see a difference in the me who is not cosplaying. Hmmm I'll take it as a compliment that yours truly is a very nice and grounded person WAHAHAHA *needless self assurance xD *
They are such a nice couple to see xD the two of then are so different yet so compatible and cute together . So much good wishes and blessings to the two of them !
Sunday was also a packed day >.< church, foundation class and then some running around before I finally went to The Cathay for The Avengers !!!!! So glad Gin and Maria wants to rewatch the movie along with me xD pity the grand Cathay was just too big and took the impact of the movie away somewhat.
And the entire time , Gin was making fangirly sounds and hand signs about the brewing bromance xD hahah the fanarts have really changed a lot about the movie xD the first time I watched Avengers, I thought Loki was interesting but didn't entertain more thoughts. I must say all the fan reaction for Loki was really unexpected xD does this prove that most girls like bad boy xD ?
I liked captain America though I have to admit the movie didn't really do a lot for him :( too much heroes , too little time.

I have since bought my 2nd bottle and signed up for TheFaceShop's membership. My skin has since recovered from the allergy but it is still a dry combination skin. Unless my skin changes or I find something better, I think I'll be sticking to this life saving product !

Avengers !!
Watched Avengers a few days ago and it was awesome ! I'm still some what in a superheroes mood so don't mind me xD
I missed a few of the marvel comic heroes movie before this so we organised a movie marathon at Pichu 's place the night before. Even we called it marathon we really only watched one movie because we started too late :x
Anyway we watched Thor. And even though the CG was fabulous I cannot help but feel the story has been overly condensed. And the Jane x Thor part was so xD
Anyway back to avengers !
My favourite hero is Captain America. I know you are not surprised xD I admit , he is probably the weakest hero amongst them ( the 2 agents not included) but he makes up for it with his leadership skills and morally upright character. Kinda weird why he only choose a shield as a weapon when he had so many other choices. Also wonder why the shield works like a boomerang o. O
Next favourite would have to be Iron Man. Love to see how helpless he is around Peppers xD Moe much ! And other than Hulk, he has got to be the one with the most offensive power.
Overall , the movie is too short for me. Too much eye candy and too little time !
Oh yes! Scarlet Johansson is so hawt too *_* I couldn't stop looking at her through out the show. Awesome skin and perrrfect makeup xD. Plus I think the stylist did an awesome job with her hair. It takes a very strong face to pull that hair off !
Thor was .… disappointing. As a god I was expecting him to exhibit a bit more power but his attacks all looked so melee. Wai no simultaneous multiple lightning shots ??!
And … I never knew Hulk is so powerful =.= even more powerful than a god.
And Loki … lol. Puny god. But the actor has awesome skin :D I kindddda cann understand why he can be likeable but the fandom for him is shocking o. O
Oh ! And I find it really intriguing to spot the link in between all these heroes and their movies . Like the power cube in Thor that belonged to the blue frost people . It fell to earth and was used in Captain America by the red skull Hydra. The same cube was of course, also used in Avengers xD
And the blood of Captain America was somehow used by Hulk to develop his own serum. And and and I realise there is also a playboy-ish genius mechanic Mr Stark in Captain America xD
Can't wait to rewatch it !!

Accidental loots are like a mid autumn's breeze
Then again... Singapore has no autumn =A=;;
Retail therapy has got to be one of the most shallow , commercialised and embarrassing therapy. Ok maybe it's too prevalent to be embarrassing but you get what I mean xD. And no girl can deny its healing abilities ! ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆Especially since buying the right things and getting the right deal is like an affinity. Sometimes you long to buy something just to cheer yourself up and you prowl through shops after shops to find that thing to shell your cash out for but then... it all ends in vain.
Can be pretty depressing if you get what I mean. (wtf depressed over not having the chance to spend money xD ?!?!! Kaika you drama queen !)

I was passing by OG to SimLim Square and feeling pretty frustrated with my bag because even without anything inside, the bag itself was also an ass to carry. I've been looking for a suitable replacement bag for a while and I'm glad I found it xD
I bought the dress + vest set for $10 at Bugis Village. The workmanship is horrible and I have to mend it myself but ah well … cheap clothes is still love.
I also haven't bought any new clothes for quite a while. Nothing seems to appeal to me these days so I was really happy to find this deal xD

Review: Loreal Youth Code Pre-Essence

The newest skincare product from Loreal. I actually bought this a couple of months back when it first launched. My skin was out of control and I was desperately looking for my miracle in a jar.
Unfortunately , this was not it.
The texture of the product is a milky and relatively viscose watery form. The product goes onto the skin well but causes an irritant to my skin when my skin was going through a traumatic period of slight eczema. During that period , almost every product will cause my skin to react. Only products like Hada Labo didn't.
My skin has since recovered and this product doesn't irritate anymore. But it's one of skincare product that you cannot justify buying. It is supposed to be a product booster that will boost the effectiveness of your other skincare products. Unfortunately, that also makes it hard to assess its effectiveness.
Overall, I will not purchase this again.

My hauls … again
I received my latest GMarket hauls yesterday. My green iPhone mobile charger and cable :D Just looking at them makes me happy ;D Yes more money spent T. T but it is necessary buys no???
Also, I had time to spare during lunch yesterday. So I waltzed into Watsons to pick up my Bb cream. I ended up buying another 10 piece of face masks on top of the Bb cream :x Again , they were a discounted item. They were going at $11:60 for 10 and I was running out of hydration masks so I thought why not :x?
Spending on your skin and body is a worthy investment hokays :x!
Also, I finally dyed my hair again. It is now ash brown, a colour I've always liked but fades super quickly. Ah well, as least the annoying black roots are gone. Because I am cheap , I used Liese's bubble dyes. Reminder to self, need to trim my sloppy bangs ASAP.
I'm in the midst of packing for my Indonesia trip now. I happen to be one of those anal packer when it comes to clothes. Not only will I draw them out, I'll also try wearing them. In the midst of it, I came out with this new mix and match combination . Thought it looked pretty good.
To end this horribly random haul entry, I'd like to inform all of you that I also just bought a bolster.
